Consisting of two separate project areas, one an infill created by a previous project and the second an addition to the third floor, the Accommodate Research project highlights McCall & Associates creativity in meeting a demanding client program within a limited project area. The second floor infill involved new office and support space for the Chief's of Surgery while the third floor addition provided a much needed home for the client's patient care research division. The third floor addition also proved challenging as a portion was suspended over a part of the building not supported by a foundation while still providing the ability for an additional 4 floors of future vertical growth.
